Aundraya Martinez
Program Officer
Silicon Valley Program
In her capacity as a Program Officer, Aundraya plays a pivotal role in advancing the Silicon Valley Program Strategy, strategically aligning grant allocation and spatial activation to foster economic mobility and cultivate a profound sense of belonging within East and Downtown San Jose.
Before joining TSO, Aundraya dedicated herself to service at the County of Santa Clara, where she contributed to a diverse array of initiatives aimed at nurturing inclusivity, enhancing economic opportunities, and fostering equitable collaborations with community leaders across the county and particularly in East San Jose. Her experiences ranged from impactful roles within the Neighborhood Safety Services Unit of the Probation Department to her recent tenure in the Office of Immigrant Relations within the Division of Equity and Social Justice.
Aundraya's commitment to community extends beyond her professional endeavors. She serves as the Board Co-Chair for the Latino Leadership Alliance, represents alumni interests on the Mission Integration Committee, and remains connected to her alma mater, Notre Dame San Jose, as a member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, she is an alumna of the Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) Leadership Institute.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of San Francisco, complemented by minors in Legal Studies and Public Service and Community Engagement, Aundraya brings a wealth of academic knowledge to her work. As a fourth-generation native of East San Jose with ancestral ties to indigenous communities in present-day Mexico and the Philippines, she brings a deeply rooted understanding of the region's cultural fabric.
Beyond her professional and community engagements, Aundraya finds joy in supporting her beloved A's, immersing herself in the local arts scene, and rejuvenating through weekend getaways to the beach or mountains.
